Berserk’s latest chapter changes the world of bravery forever

Rambunctious Continuing to follow the tragic death of creator Kentaro Miura last year, writer Koji Mori and the artists at Studio Gaga took the opportunity to tell the final chapters following Guts, Casca, Griffith, and the rest of Band of the Hawk. As the final chapter begins after Griffith’s arrival at Elfhelm, the events following White Hawk forever change the magical landscape, which could mean that a key ally of the Guts may never return.

warning. If you haven’t yet read Berserk’s final chapter, Chapter 369, you might want to steer clear of it because we’re diving into serious spoiler territory for the dismal animated series.

Elfhelm is no longer official. The magical island that was suited to bursting with supernatural creatures including elves, fairies, witches and other beings is no longer part of the “real world” thanks to Griffith’s actions and powers as the newest member of the Godhand. This comes as a serious blow to Guts and his allies, as these were the most powerful creatures they encountered and who were on their side.

Champions Rambunctious They travel to Elfhelm not only to restore the integrity of Casca, which has been missing since returning from the eclipse after the Golden Age arc, but also as a way to strengthen themselves with new weapons, and a better understanding of magic, along with potential discoveries when it comes to things like Guts Berserker’s armor. Now, nothing remains of the inhabitants and their magical environment as they were pulled out of the “physical world”.

This could be a serious problem for one of Guts’ biggest allies who’s been with him since the first chapter, as the Fairy Puck happens to fall into the Elfhlem population category. While Puck has not been seen disappearing from the world like his brothers, we have yet to see if he will still accompany the Black Swordsman until the end of his journey or if his time on the deadly plane has fallen by the wayside.

No new Berserk anime has been revealed, though October of this year will see the release of a TV series that re-edit clips from the original movie trilogy covering the Golden Arc, along with never-before-seen deleted clips. If the Memorial Edition rises in popularity, we may see a new anime adaptation of Guts’ horrific story.
